So I'll start with the good points - the hotel and room was really clean, with a fully functioning air con in the room making our stay much more comfortable. The weather was amazing and the pools were great, very relaxing sitting around the pool in the day. The beach was nice with plenty of sun beds to chose from and easy access to drinks and snacks via the beach bar and sports bar. The food in the a la carte restaurants was very nice also. Unfortunately the food in the buffet was awful; a lot of it was cold and after being left out for sometimes hours at a time we could see flies in and around it. The choices were quite strange and it was impossible to make a meal out of the selections, however the pasta bar was good. Myself and my partner both became ill whilst here with diarrhoea and sickness which we can only put down to the food. Our main problem with the hotel and the area itself is that there is nowhere to go out for food or drink nearby, meaning you have no choice but to eat at the hotel and drink their watered down drinks - 1 beer comes in a small plastic cup that is probably 1/3 of a pint and we found it impossible to get drunk... as I said the food at the a la carte restaurants was nice however they are ran very poorly, 2 of the 4 times we ate there they brought us the wrong meals and it is not a very personal experience. A lot of people on the beach and even in the hotel constantly trying to sell you things and its very annoying. There is only Wifi in one section of the hotel but you can buy an upgrade, however we were recommended not too by a staff member who said its not very good. Would be nice to at least get wifi in the rooms. There is a gym however it's not that well equipped, with the heaviest dumbbells only being 14kg but plenty of options for quick workouts with treadmills and a few other cardio machines. The problem with the gym is that it's only open 8am-8pm, which is pointless because most people will want to be in the sun between these hours, why not have it open 24/7 with key card access? Or at least have it open earlier in the morning so people can workout before the day begins... common sense! Overall I would say that the hotel management know exactly what is wrong with this place however they don't seem to care, as they know people will never visit twice and despite the bad reviews people will always continue to book due to the low price. Has great potential with a few simple upgrades but I would not recommend it to anyone, especially not young couples who want to be kept busy.…

At the moment, at Vista Sol we do not have Room Service. However, talking with your representative and knowing your case, our Guest Service department made the exception and we took the milk you needed to your room. We also explained that you could approach the bar to request more if needed. We cannot change the past, especially if we can try to compensate for the future, so we appeal to grant us a new opportunity to stay with us and help them have a different experience.
