Upon checking, it shows that the service was ordered last Januaray 8, 2015 and you have opted for self installation and the services was activated last January 13, 2015. DYLAN_: My question that i have is that i signed up for internet service in early january but the apartment where i moved to did not have a signal to the inside

DYLAN_: i had a technician come out on feb 1st and was able to get that taken care of and then the internet was activated

DYLAN_: i was wondering if it was possible to have the billing cycle start on feb 1st as that was when the service was 1st activated and was not used prior to that

DYLAN_: so really i have only had the service for less than 2 weeks but have a bill for the whole previous month

Shyrrel: Dylan, I can see here that the services was just installed last January 8, 2015. Since we are billing you in advance, you will be billed for the service right away even if you had it for less than 2 weeks. The billing cycle cannot be changed as well.

DYLAN_: That is incorrect. The service was ordered on the 8th but was not installed until Feb 1st

DYLAN_: Can you see the appointment i had on the 1st on my account?

Shyrrel: The on January 24, 2015, you have contacted us and an appointment was set for a technician to install the service on February 1st.

DYLAN_: Ok so if i had a tech come install the service on feb 1st, how could have it been installed since january 8th like you previously said?

Shyrrel: You have ordered the service online for self installation and once you have submitted the order, the service was activated right away.

DYLAN_: So you're billing me for time that i was unable to use the service?

DYLAN_: That doesn't seem like a legal practice

TLDR

Ordered internet. They didn't come to install it for 3 weeks. Being billed since the order instead of after the install happened and the service was activated.
